Located just 2 minutes walk from the station building’s north central exit, it is especially convenient for the JR lines. If you wish to travel by subway the hotel is directly above Kyoto Subway Station’s Exit 5.
Rooms
Kyoto Century Hotel has 221 guest rooms which range in style from business style single rooms, to double rooms and family rooms. All beds are fitted with premium Simmonds Bedding, the famous American brand of bed-time comfort, for a guaranteed good night’s rest. All rooms also come supplied with a private bath and toilet, a flat screen TV with satellite channels, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a hair dryer, and a full set of complementary toiletries. Free Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms and also in the hotel lobby.
Laundry and dry cleaning services are available upon request. In room massage treatments are also available.
Services & Facilities
There is a 24 hour Front Desk service, and a Concierge service if you need help making restaurant reservations, calling taxis or planning your tour of the city. Kyoto Century Hotel staff are also multi-lingual, with English, Chinese, Spanish and Thai speakers available to help you with your enquiries.
Facilities include: cheap parking in the hotel car park, currency exchange, and vending machines for both soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. Wheelchairs are available upon request and the hotel also has wheelchair accessible restrooms.
Dining
Kyoto Century Hotel has four restaurants, one bar and one sweets boutique. Muslim-friendly halal meals with no pork or alcohol are also available. These meals are halal-certified by the Kyoto Muslim Association. In addition three certified Halal Supervisors are employed by the hotel to ensure that Muslim guests receive the best service. Casane – French Dining
Casane is the main dining room of the hotel and serves French cuisine with a hint of Kyoto elegance. The restaurant is situated in a relaxing space that overlooks the hotel garden and is available for party bookings. Typical dishes from the seasonal a la carte menu include fillet of lamb in a mushroom sauce, and roast lobster with gnocchi and courgettes. Expect to pay around 3000 yen for lunch or 5500 yen for dinner.

La Jyho – Buffet Dining
La Jyho serves a French style buffet with tables piled high with foie gras, roast beef, fresh seafood, healthy vegetables, hot soups and an abundance of sweet pastries. A la carte and course meals are also available. La Jyho also doubles as a tea room in the afternoon and evening. The breakfast buffet is priced at 2600 yen.

Bonheur – Teppanyaki Grill
Teppanyaki is iron plate griddle style cooking for beefsteak, seafood and vegetables. Bonheur’s Wagyu Lunch course at 6000 yen includes appetisers, soup, rice, grilled seafood and melt in the mouth grilled wagyu beef. A Beef Steak Dinner course will cost you 8,000 yen.

Rantei – Japanese Dining
Rantei serves all kinds of Japanese cuisine, whether that be a bento style box lunch, a high grade kaiseki course meal, or a la carte ordering from the sushi bar. You can sit at the counter and watch the cooks at work, or reserve a private room. Expect to pay 2600 yen for breakfast, between 2600 and 3900 yen for lunch (it is more expensive at weekends) and 5500 for dinner.

Essex – The Hotel Bar
Essex is a tranquil bar with comfortable counter and table seats. The bar stocks a wide range of beers, whiskies, wines, sakes, cocktails and other spirits. Snacks, light meals and full meals can all be ordered at the bar.

Joie Joue – A Sweets Boutique
This boutique stocks an array of cakes, pies, pastries and Japanese style tea flavored sweets. When you want to give yourself a sweet little present, this is the place to come.

If you prefer to eat in your room, the hotel has an excellent room service menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snacks, sweets and meals can be ordered from any of the above restaurants during opening hours and drinks can be ordered throughout the day.
Parties & Events
The Kyoto Century Hotel has 11 banquet halls of various sizes which are suitable for parties, conferences, seminars and business meetings. Audio-visual equipment, monitors, projectors, screens, photocopiers and karaoke machines are all available for use at your event.
