Located about 2 minutes on foot east from JR Kyoto Station’s Central Gate and Karasuma Exit, on the Kyoto Tower side, it is especially convenient for the JR lines. If you are using the subway, take Kyoto Subway Station Exit 5 and walk about 2 minutes to the hotel. Routes from the JR West Exit, Shinkansen Central Gate and Kintetsu Kyoto Station are each listed at about 5 minutes on foot.

Rooms

Kyoto Century Hotel has 214 guest rooms. Room types include Garden Suite, Modern Suite, Garden Junior Suite, Deluxe Family, Kyo-Premium, Kyo-Premium Executive Double, Premium Deluxe Double, Grand Comfort and Standard Rooms. All beds are fitted with premium Simmons bedding for a comfortable night’s rest. All rooms also come supplied with a private bath and toilet, a TV, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a hair dryer, and a full set of toiletries. Free Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms and also in the 2nd floor lobby.

Room amenities include TAYIV bath products, Bird Friendly organic drip coffee from Kyoto’s Ogawa Coffee, and wooden slippers. Laundry and dry cleaning services are available upon request.

Services & Facilities

There is a 24-hour Front Desk service, and guest services can help with Kyoto sightseeing guidance, bus and subway tickets, luggage delivery, and luggage storage before check-in and after check-out.

Facilities include B1F parking, free Wi-Fi, cleaning services, and vending machines. The hotel car park has about 50 spaces and is open 24 hours. Parking costs 800 yen per 30 minutes, or 2,000 yen per night for accommodation guests. The height limit is 2.2 meters, spaces cannot be reserved, and accessible parking is available. The hotel does not have a pool or fitness facility.

Dining

Kyoto Century Hotel has two dining spaces and one bar: All Day Dining La Jyho, La Jyho Terrace and Main Bar ESSEX. Guests with food allergies or religious dietary restrictions should consult the restaurant in advance. The hotel says it will make every possible effort where feasible, but menus and ingredient handling have limitations.

All Day Dining La Jyho – Buffet Dining

All Day Dining La Jyho is the hotel’s main buffet restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in a bright dining room beside the hotel garden. Breakfast is priced at 3,388 yen for adults, lunch at 6,500 yen for adults, and dinner at 10,000 yen for adults.

La Jyho Terrace

La Jyho Terrace is a bistro-style lounge overlooking the hotel garden. It is useful for lunch, dinner, cafe-style a la carte orders, or a more relaxed drink before or after a meal.

Main Bar ESSEX is a tranquil bar with comfortable counter and table seats. The bar stocks cocktails, whiskies and other spirits, with cocktails from 1,600 yen and whisky shots from 1,800 yen. There is a 500 yen table charge.
