Isetan is a major department store occupying thirteen floors on Kyoto Station’s north west side. The bulk of the store is dedicated to fashion, clothing and brand goods, but you can also find interior goods, sportswear, jewelry, kimonos, stationery and souvenirs, as well as an expansive food hall. Kyoto Porta also extends through the underground east and west shopping areas beneath Kyoto Bus Station and close to Kyoto Subway Station, with a B2 south area and the 11th-floor Porta Sky Dining area. Aeon Mall is a large shopping center situated 5 minutes’ walk from the Hachijo Exit on the south side of Kyoto Station. Inside are popular national and international retail stores, a number of cheap eateries, a grocery store, an amusement arcade, and a cinema. Read more
