Kyoto Tower Hotel is located in the Kyoto Tower building directly opposite Kyoto Station’s north central exit. The hotel occupies the 5th – 9th floors of the tower building with its reception on the 8th floor.
Being situated so close to Kyoto Station and the city’s main bus terminal makes for a very convenient location. Guests also have immediate access to all of the tower’s facilities which include several restaurants, the Sky Lounge bar and a public Japanese style spa in the basement. In addition, there is a tourist information center on the 3rd floor of the building with multi-lingual staff who can help you plan your exploration of the city. There is also a Kyoto Tower Hotel Annex located close to the tower which has its own restaurant serving breakfast and lunch.
Kyoto Tower has a variety of comfortable, clean, modern rooms available which are suitable for anyone from the single traveler, to families or groups of 4 to 6 people. Single rooms, double rooms, twin rooms, deluxe twin rooms, triple rooms, deluxe triple rooms, and deluxe family rooms are all available.

This room is only available as a non-smoking room. There is also a Japanese Style Room which has completely tatami mat flooring and futons instead of beds. This room is only available as a smoking room. For children there is a “Tawara-chan Room” which is decorated in bright colors and features the friendly image of Tawara-chan, the tower mascot. Other Services & Facilities
Staff at the reception desk can store your luggage for free both before you check in and after you check out.
A buffet style breakfast is served in the 3rd Floor Tower Terrace restaurant from 7:00 am and is priced at 2100 yen for adults, 1100 yen for elementary school age children, or 600 yen for children over 3 years of age. This breakfast features soup, bread, lots of healthy fruit and vegetables, and Kyoto style obanzai side dishes. There is also a special deal for adults for just 2200 yen that includes both breakfast and the use of the spa in the tower building basement. This is actually a pretty good deal, as it only costs an extra 100 yen. Because the spa is normally quite pricey, you will save yourself 690 yen by taking advantage of this offer. It is also possible to book a stay that includes breakfast together with your room fee.
