Kyoto Tower Hotel

Kyoto Tower Hotel is located in the Kyoto Tower building directly opposite Kyoto Station. The hotel stands at the base of Kyoto Tower, about 2 minutes on foot from JR Kyoto Station’s Central Exit, also known as the Karasuma Exit. It occupies the 5th – 9th floors of the tower building with its reception on the 8th floor.

Being situated so close to Kyoto Station and the city’s main bus terminal makes for a very convenient location. Guests also have immediate access to the tower building’s facilities, which include the Nidec Kyoto Tower observation deck, Tower Terrace restaurant, Sky Lounge KUU, TOWERLAND rooftop bar and BBQ, and KYOTO TOWER SANDO, with a food hall on B1, a market on the 1st floor, and workshops on the 2nd floor.

In addition, there is a tourist information center on the 3rd floor of the building with multi-lingual staff who can help you plan your exploration of the city. There is also a Kyoto Tower Hotel Annex located close to the tower which has its own breakfast restaurant.

Guests arriving by car should note that Kyoto Tower Hotel has no hotel or affiliated parking, so nearby coin parking is the practical option.

Guest Rooms

Kyoto Tower Hotel has a variety of comfortable, clean, modern rooms suitable for single travelers, couples, families and groups. Single rooms, double rooms, twin rooms, large twin rooms, corner twin rooms, deluxe family rooms, Japanese-Western rooms, and limited concept rooms are all available.

All guest rooms are non-smoking, with a smoking area available on the 7th floor. Deluxe family rooms are suitable for 3 to 8 people. Japanese-Western rooms sleep 2 to 5 people and combine a carpeted bedroom with a Japanese-style sitting area with tatami mat flooring. All rooms are individually air conditioned and include a TV, air purifier and humidifier, refrigerator or cooler, electric kettle, and free Wi-Fi. In the bathroom you will find a bidet toilet, a hairdryer, towels, nightwear, and bath amenities. There is also an amenity bar at the front desk.

Other Services & Facilities

Staff at the reception desk can store your luggage for free both before you check in and after you check out. Other services include laundry, parcel delivery, taxi arrangement, valuables storage and massage. There is also a paid laundry corner, vending machines, an ice machine and a water server.

A buffet style breakfast is served in the 3rd Floor Tower Terrace restaurant from 7:00 to 10:00, with final entry at 9:30, and is priced at 2,420 yen. The breakfast features Kyoto-style dishes, Asian and ethnic items, vegetables, tea and matcha sweets.
