The Daiwa Roynet chain of upscale business hotels provide reliably clean and comfortable accommodation with excellent services and amenities. The Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Ekimae has a range of double rooms and twin rooms which are graded in increasing size as “standard”, “superior” and “executive”. Guest rooms have an elegant interior style called “kimono mind” which is meant combine the grace of traditional silken robes with the warmth of an old style Kyoto townhouse. The hotel hallways are also lit with lanterns at your feet, just as they would be in a traditional Kyoto home.

All rooms are fully air conditioned, and supplied with high speed internet, free Wi-Fi and LAN cable connections, LCD TVs with free satellite broadcasting and pay per view video on demand, a refrigerator, a trouser press, an electric kettle, and nightwear. In the bathroom you will find a bathtub with shower attachment, a bidet toilet, a hairdryer and a full set of complimentary toiletries. This hotel is completely non-smoking.

Security
The Daiwa Roynet group of hotels place a heavy emphasis on cleanliness, hospitality and security. For the sake of the guests’ peace of mind, the main entrance of the hotel is locked at midnight until 6:00 am the following morning. However, guests can use their room key cards to reenter the building during these hours.
All guests receive key cards so they can enter the building at any time, but there is also an intercom in case you forget your card!
Dining
There is a Vietnamese restaurant on the 2nd floor of the hotel building called Nhà Viet Nam. A buffet breakfast is served here daily from 6.30 – 10.00 (with last orders at 9.40). Lunch is served from 11.00 – 14.00 and dinner from 17.00 – 22.00. There are also a wide variety of dining opportunities in the neighboring Kyoto Yodobashi department store.

This hotel has a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage and laundry facilities.
The hotel is wheelchair accessible and guide dogs are allowed on the premises.

To find the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Ekimae walk north from the north central exit of Kyoto Station on Karasuma Street. You will pass the Kyoto Bus Terminal, and then Kyoto Tower will be on your left. Continuing north you will find the hotel just past Kyoto Yodobashi on the left side of the road.
